Refund and cancellation policy
prepfrancais sells access to a digital service. This page says exactly when a plan can be cancelled, when it can be refunded, how to ask, and how long the money takes to come back.

What you are buying
A plan is timed access to the paid features — AI writing corrections, AI speaking evaluations, the exam simulator and the study packs — for the length printed on the plan you chose. Access is applied to your account as soon as the payment is confirmed. Nothing physical is sold and nothing is shipped.
Cancelling a plan
You can cancel at any time and there is no cancellation fee. Write to contact@prepfrancais.com from the address on your account and we cancel the mandate, which stops every future charge. Cancelling does not cut short what you have already paid for: access runs to the end of the period and then returns to the free plan. Your account, your history and your saved mistakes are kept.
The 7-day refund
Within 7 days of a payment, if none of the AI corrections or speaking evaluations that plan gave you have been used, we refund it in full and you do not have to give a reason. Ask inside those 7 days and we will not argue about it.
Once the plan has been used
Once an AI correction or a speaking evaluation from the plan has been delivered, the plan counts as delivered and is no longer refundable, and the same applies once the 7 days have passed. This does not cover a failure on our side — that is the next clause.
When something went wrong on our side
If a correction fails because an AI provider was unavailable, the attempt returns to your balance automatically: you are never charged for work that was not delivered. Beyond that, if a payment was taken twice, if access was never unlocked after a successful payment, or if the service was unusable for a meaningful part of your plan, we refund in full whatever the 7 days say. Tell us and we will put it right.
How the money comes back
An approved refund goes back to the card or account the payment came from — we cannot send it anywhere else. We instruct it within 3 business days of approving it. Your bank then takes its own time: usually 5 to 7 business days, and up to 10 for an international card.
Currency and bank charges
Plans are charged in the currency shown on the pricing page, with the payment processing fee itemised there before you pay. A refund returns the amount we charged. Any cross-border, foreign-exchange or issuer fee your own bank added is charged by your bank and not by us, so we cannot return it, and an exchange rate that has moved between the payment and the refund can change what finally lands in your account.
How to ask
Email contact@prepfrancais.com from the address on your account, with the invoice number from your receipt or the date and amount of the payment. We reply within two business days and tell you plainly whether it is approved, and why.
